App Settings

App Settings apply to the current lab. They control that lab's name, SKU prefix, member access, suppliers, categories, and project BOM templates. They are separate from your personal profile, password, and sign-in settings.

Open Settings in the app and choose a tab:

• General sets the lab name and SKU prefix, and provides the data export.
• Members shows lab members and pending invitations.
• Appearance selects the theme for your ElecParts user account.
• Suppliers manages supplier records used by Parts, Purchasing, and inventory provenance.
• Categories organizes parts in a hierarchy.
• BOM Templates maps CSV columns for project BOM imports.

Your role affects which actions and fields are available. Admins can manage suppliers, categories, and BOM templates. Editors and Viewers can view those settings. The Members page shows its management controls to the lab Owner and Admins.
